MOUSE 1.0 is free software which will help you practise for your university access exam.
To be able to use it, you must download MOUSE10.zip
and unzip the program files and tutorial files (= exercises) that it contains onto a
computer (no installation is required, it is portable freeware, so you can even run it
from a pendrive).
Then read the instructions in README.TXT to choose one of the three executable files
for the operating system in your computer (MS-DOS, Windows or Linux).
Here are some example screenshots
so that you can have an idea what it looks like.
When you enter the program, just follow the instructions on the screen.
You can choose one of the more than 40 tutorial files it has. You will see instructions,
texts or exercises. When you get to a question, you can answer it and check your answer
immediately. The program will tell you whether it is correct, wrong, or partially correct,
and in that case it will point out the first wrong word in your answer, and then you can
correct it and check again.
IMPORTANT:
- Your mouse will not work in this program (it is not necessary).
Use the arrow keys (up, down, right, left)
and movement keys (home, end, page up, page down) instead.
- Read README.TXT for some limitations concerning accented vowels in Spanish.
- If the window is too small, press ALT+ENTER once or twice.
