MARKS 2.0 is free software which will help you calculate your students' final grades. To be able to use it, you must download MARKS10.zip and unzip the program files and sample data files that it contains onto a computer (no installation is required, it is portable freeware, so you can even run it from a pendrive).

Then read the instructions in README.TXT to choose one of the three executable files for the operating system in your computer (MS-DOS, Windows or Linux).

Here are some example screenshots so that you can have an idea what it looks like.

To edit your own data files you can use EDIT in Windows or GEDIT in Linux, but any accent signs will not show correctly. This does not affect the way the program works. Making a copy of one of the data files and using it as a template will help you write your own.

IMPORTANT:
  • Your mouse will not work in this program (it is not necessary).

Use the arrow keys (up, down, right, left) and movement keys (home, end, page up, page down) instead.

  • Read README.TXT for some limitations concerning accented vowels in Spanish.

  • If the window is too small, press ALT+ENTER once or twice.
