Compounds of some-, any-, no-, every-

These prefixes can be used to make compound words together with the words THING, ONE, BODY and WHERE:
An important thing to remember is that all of them are singular, even if they refer to more than one person or thing:
    Everyone was dancing when I went into the disco.
    = Todo el mundo estaba bailando cuando entré en la discoteca.
    Why does everything have to be so difficult?
    = ¿Por qué tiene que ser todo tan difícil?
    Everybody has the same rights in a true democracy.
    = Todo el mundo tiene los mismos derechos en una verdadera democracia.

The same as with SOME and ANY, these compounds are translated in the same way in Spanish when they begin with SOME, NO, or EVERY, but the translation varies when they start by ANY, depending on the type of sentence (affirmative, negative or interrogative):

In negative sentences, it is translated as the compounds of NO-:
In interrogative sentences, it is translated as the compounds of SOME-:
In questions with compounds of ANY- the speaker has no idea of the type of answer — affirmative or negative — that the question will get. In contrast, when you use compounds of SOME- in a question, you normally expect a positive answer: In affirmative sentences it is usually translated as CUALQUIERA / CUALQUIER COSA / CUALQUIER LUGAR / etc.:
However, sometimes we translate them in the same way as the compounds of SOME-, when we don't have any expectations or we anticipate a negative outcome. Contrast these examples: Here are more examples:
