• Los pronombres sujeto sólo pueden realizar una función en la oración, la función de sujeto. Siempre aparecen delante del verbo (normalmente al principio de la oración en afirmativas y negativas):

• En la mayoría de las oraciones interrogativas el orden es Auxiliar + Sujeto + Verbo, así que el sujeto se coloca detrás del primer auxiliar:

• Sin embargo, en las wh-questions en las que la wh-word es el sujeto, el orden es el mismo que en las oraciones afirmativas: Sujeto + Verbo:
