Escribe estas oraciones exhortativas en estilo indirecto en tu cuaderno. Algunas se pueden decir de dos formas: como una afirmación o pregunta indirecta, usando SAID, TOLD o ASKED, o como una exhortación, usando un verbo más específico.
Cuando hayas terminado el ejercicio, comprueba tus respuestas:
- They asked us: "Can you show us how your program works, please?"

They asked us... (petición) - The sergeant said: "You will have to wait here for a few minutes."
The sergeant told me... (afirmación)
The sergeant told me... (orden) - The policeman told David: "Stop the engine and show me your driving license, please".
The policeman told David... (orden) - She said, "Would you like to come with us to watch this film tomorrow night?"
She asked me... (pregunta indirecta)
She invited me... (invitación) - Her French friends said: "We will bring you a present from our country next week, Zoe".
Zoe's French friends told... (afirmación)
Zoe's French friends promised... (promesa) - "Please, please, will you lend me your bike the day after tomorrow?"
He asked me... (pregunta indirecta)
He insisted... (petición) - Paul said: "I can drive you home after tomorrow's session at the gym, Phil".
Paul told... (afirmación)
Paul offered... (ofrecimiento) - My mother asked: "Why don't you organise a farewell party here for your language assistant next week?"
