To transform an affirmative sentence into an interrogative one (a yes/no question), you have to follow these steps (if you have any doubts, click on any number in a blue circle):



Is there an auxiliary verb?
	Is the sentence in the past simple?
	Use "did" as an auxiliary, and write the main verb in the infinitive (without -ed).	Is the subject of the sentence in the 3rd person singular?
		Use "does" as an auxiliary, and write the main verb in the infinitive (without -s).	Use "do" as an auxiliary.
Write or say the auxiliary verb before the subject, and add a question mark at the end. After the subject, write or say the rest of the verb, including first the frequency adverb and other auxiliaries if there are any, and with the main verb, if it is not the verb BE, at the end.
